Artist of the Month [Holiday Edition] – The Chicago Hooker
If you’ve walked by the design studio at Coco Design & Build Co. lately, you may have noticed that we have a holiday display with 2 additional talented artists’ work displayed this month. Each of these creators makes beautiful and affordable one-of-a-kind pieces that would make wonderful holiday presents!
The Chicago Hooker –
Christopher Melton is the guy behind The Chicago Hooker. Having learned to crochet as a child, he started again about five years ago and hasn’t stopped. With an eye for color and a sense of whimsy, Christopher creates unique and useful items for the home. Look for things like dish towels, baskets, hot pads, and more in his Etsy Shop (qr code above). Recently Christopher has done a custom Christmas tree skirt and peppermint swirl throw blanket. Originally from Washington State, Christopher has lived on the north side of Chicago for over 15 years.
